On January 29th and 30th Ideum and the New Mexico Wine and Grape Growers Association exhibited together at the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium in Sacramento. The conference was the first time the Tasting Table and Wine Experience debuted out of state and preceded the official launch of the table, which is now officially for sale!
Our booth celebrated New Mexico’s rich wine history with the newest interactive wine-tasting technology. New Mexico is the oldest wine-growing region in the United States. In 1629, almost 400 years ago, Spanish friars introduced the Mission Grape to this region.
To commemorate this exciting fact, visitors could try out an interactive wine tasting with the Tasting Table and Wine Experience accompanied by a glass of New Mexico Sparkling Brut by VARA. The sparkling wine is made of 100% New Mexico grapes and includes the storied Mission grape Listan Prieto.
We’d like to thank all of the visitors to our booth who made our first Unified Symposium such a memorable experience. We are also very grateful to New Mexico Wine and VARA for their support at the conference and during the development of the Tasting Table.
