FUTURE
TASTINGS

Our current offering, The Wine Experience, is designed with the visitor in mind. It is about what you, as a guest, taste and the conversations that follow. When people are discussing great wines, the experience is heightened. It is as much about being with friends and enjoying the experience as it is about the complexity of wine's taste and aroma.
So what is next? Beer? Spirits? Coffee? Cheese? Cannabis? We’ve discussed the types of complex flavors and aromas that might be explored in new interactive tasting experiences. Of course, the tasting wheel plays a vital role in the Wine Experience, so new ways to describe flavors must be developed, tested, and refined. As much “tasting” went into our Wine Experience software as did “testing.”
We are looking forward to creating new experiences for the Tasting Table. We also want to add features (such as sparkling wine!) to the current Wine Experience application. As our early adopters create their own tasting experiences, we will learn a lot. We also plan to conduct pop-up events, private tastings, and other opportunities to learn from the food and wine industry and the public as they try out these new interactive experiences.
Please contact us with any questions, comments, or feedback. We are looking forward to the conversation.
Ideum developed a proof-of-concept Beer tasting experience several years ago as an example release for Tangible Engine, object-recognition software.
