The Wine Experience is a software that allows up to four guests to participate in an interactive tasting. Software owners can create any number of custom tastings with up to eight wines per tasting, using our cloud-based content management system. An object-recognition system identifies individual wines with custom coasters. Guests can share what they taste via an interactive wheel.

The Tasting Table is an interactive touch table that accommodates up to four guests. Designed and developed by Ideum, leaders in touch table design, the Tasting Table provides a responsive and durable Windows-based platform for interactive tastings. Table uses the best technical components and materials and is quality-built in the USA. It comes with a three-year warranty.

Seamless Integration of
Software and Hardware.

The hardware and software are designed to be easy to operate and secure. A content management system (CMS) allows owners to create tastings and to record and view analytics revealing their guests' impressions of wines.

The Tasting Table and The Wine Experience were designed in tandem by Ideum, a 25-year-old interactive exhibit design firm. Both the hardware and software have been extensively prototyped and tested at local popup events and wineries.

Our custom tasting wheel has 60 tasting notes that visitors can select when tasting a wine. Allowing guests to express the flavors they are experiencing in their tasting experience.
Attract Mode

Attract visitors to the Wine Experience with a 3D scene or video introduction. Transitions into customizable letter from the organization to welcome guests to the tasting experience.
Branding & Style
Personalize color theme, font, and add your logo. Fully customizable sections to communicate with guests and insert information about your company’s initiatives.

CMS & Analytics
Add any number of tastings, with 8 wines per tasting, through the cloud-based content management system (CMS). Retrieve guest’s tasting notes from the CMS to learn how they experience your wines.

An illustrated and animated introduction to how to taste wines. Tasting tips can be skipped by experienced wine tasters, making the experience suited for beginners and experts.
Wine Identification

Through tangible coasters, each tasting within the Wine Experience can identify up to eight individual wines. Coasters “unlock” the tasting experience allowing owners to control access.
Wine Profile
Each tasting ends with an individual profile of the wine with tasting notes by the winery. Allowing guests to compare their tasting experience to the notes of the winemaker.

The Wine Experience includes QR codes that link to website and webshop of the winemaker, allowing guests to find more information and directly purchase the wine they tasted.

Size. The Tasting Table is designed to fit four people comfortably. At 36 inches tall it is compatible with four 26.5-inch tall bar seats.

Design. Designed for public spaces, access to the power button and USB ports is hidden in a lockable I/O box.

Material.  A steel and wood base make the Tasting Table a rugged yet stylish addition to your tasting room of wine bar.

Display. The table features a 4K ultra HD  LG commercial display. It is rated 24/7 with a 55” diagonal optically bonded display and has a strengthened 4mm glass surface.

Multitouch. TES (formerly 3M™ ) projected capacitive touch sensor, optically bonded display, support for 80 simultaneous touch points with palm rejection.

Power. Single push-button power for ease of use. Universal 110-240 V power system.  Designed to be a plug and play experience.

Computer.  Integrated computer with the current generation of Intel Core processors and NVIDIA graphics cards.
